Hi, I am Emma McAtasney, I earned my coaching credentials through Precision Nutrition. the world leader in nutrition education for fitness professionals. Precision Nutrition regularly improves their curriculum based on the latest in nutrition, exercise, and psychology research. Their mission is research-driven, life-changing nutrition coaching for everyone.
In addition, I hold the Burrell Education Pre and Postnatal certifications. The Burrell Education courses are designed to educate and support Women's Health Professionals, Physiotherapists and Fitness Professionals in the creation of offerings that have the potential to transform the lives of the women they serve.
I'm also a busy mother with a family who depends on me and a business to run. I live how important it is to stay on top of my nutrition and wellness. I believe that the greatest gift you can give your family is a healthy, happy you.
I help busy mums who are struggling with their weight ditch dieting and lose weight for good. Unlike restrictive diets which lead to short lived weight loss, I help my clients develop consistent healthy habits which optimises their metabolism so they can maintain their weight loss, boost their energy and improve their health for life!
My Coaching Approach
This isn’t your typical nutrition coaching programme. Most nutritionists will meet with you 1:1 and talk about food. In my experience, this isn’t enough. With my approach, although we do talk about food, we also talk about self-care, coping skills, mental health, exercise, sleep, boundaries, and more to create a real mindset shift that serves you. I’ll teach you doable daily actions that are designed to fit into your busy life, without them taking over.
I'm not here to tell you what to do. This is a partnership, we both have experience to bring to the table. You'll being the expertise of your own lived experiences. You know what works for you and what doesn't. You know your likes and dislikes, your patterns, your schedules, and your triggers.
And I'll compliment that with knowledge of nutrition, fitness and healthy lifestyle choices as well as support you with connecting to your goals on a deep level and tease out action plans to move you deliberately towards achieving those outcomes and keeping you accountable to ensure it happens.
In addition to 1:1 sessions, I offer a complete, comprehensive, 100% support from all angles programme so that you can get healthier and happier as quickly as possible and not waste any more of your precious time.
