Who Am I to Build Your Macro Balance?

Hi, I am Emma McAtasney, I’m a certified Holistic Health Coach and the brains behind Macro Balance.

For years, I wrestled with the tediousness of calorie counting. It felt like a chore that intruded upon the joy of eating, and I always worried it may veer dangerously close to disordered eating. While I reluctantly tried it on occasion, I quickly grew weary of its restrictive nature. Despite glimpses of success, I couldn't shake the feeling that achieving my desired physique was forever tied to the confines of calorie counting which I couldn't embrace.

After certifying as a Nutrition coach, I discovered a more sustainable approach: structuring my diet around macros. Tentatively, I gave it a try—and was amazed by the results. Gone was the chore of calorie counting, replaced by a newfound sense of freedom and enjoyment in eating....

This led me to further my education with an Advanced Certificate in Coaching Dietary Strategies, focusing specifically on macros-based diets.
