Motivation

During the first week of the programme we will set up Your Wellness Foundation! We begin with evaluating where you are now, identify your “why” and assess your mindset!

Metabolism

Time to learn how to work with your body so your metabolism does all the heavy lifting for you. You will learn all about the health factors beyond food which optimise your metabolism so your can really accelerate your fat loss and maintain it for life!

Nutrition

You will establish a baseline level of healthy eating. This is not fat loss focused, this is about eating enough macro and micro nutrients so that the busyness of life does not deplete us.

January: Detox & Liver Health

Forget juice cleanses — this month is about supporting your body’s real detox system: your liver. You’ll learn how to reduce your toxic load (without going extreme), support your liver through everyday nutrition and lifestyle choices, and create the foundation your metabolism needs to thrive. By the end of the month, you’ll feel more energized, and primed for the year ahead.

February: Fat Loss

This month is all about creating what your body needs for fat loss. You'll begin by considering if you are ready both physically and mentally for reducing your calories. Then incorporating some simple dietary strategies for fat loss which are easy to incorporate into the foundational programme.

March: Movement and Active Living

Let's get moving! This week is all about making exercise a habit and creating a plan that works for your lifestyle and therefore you can stick to. Exercise must be enjoyable!

April: Gut Health

Let's heal your gut! A properly functioning gastrointestinal system is critical for overall health and well-being. Healing your gut boosts your immune system, balances your hormones (both stress and sex) and improves your blood sugar tolerance.

May: Stress Management

Stress affects everything: mood, skin, digestive system, metabolism, immune system … so it’s crucial to manage this element of wellness. We can’t just get rid of stress – it’s part of life. I'll teach you how to build stress management techniques into your day – no matter how busy you are.

June: Satisfying Meals & Food Psychology

Summer is for fun— and this month, you'll learn how to make that work for your health, not against it. We’ll explore how to build meals that are both deeply satisfying and aligned with your goals, using the science of flavour, fullness, and the “bliss point” to your advantage. No more bland salads or rebound overeating — just real meals that taste amazing, support your metabolism, and "hit the spot".

JuLy: Leptin: The Hunger Hormone

The month your hunger makes sense again.

If you’ve ever felt like your hunger has a mind of its own? This month, we explore leptin, the key hormone that tells your brain whether you’re full, whether to burn or store fat, and whether your body feels safe enough to let go of extra weight. You’ll learn how things like stress, sleep, overeating, and restriction can throw leptin off — and how to restore it's signals. When leptin works with you, your hunger starts to feel normal again — and fat loss feels less like a battle.

August: The Power of Sleep

The month you stop pushing through and start healing instead.

Poor sleep isn’t just exhausting — it can quietly sabotage your metabolism, hormones, cravings, and progress. This month, you’ll learn why deep rest is essential for fat loss, energy, blood sugar, and recovery — especially in your 40s and beyond. As a certified Sleep, Stress & Recovery Coach, I’ll guide you through simple, science-backed tools to improve your sleep quality, calm your nervous system, and help your body thrive! You can’t out-diet or out-exercise poor sleep — so we’ll tackle it head on.

September: Cardiac Health

The month your heart gets the attention it deserves.
Your heart doesn't just keep you alive—it's the engine that powers your entire metabolism. This month, we'll explore the critical connections between metabolic health and cardiac function, focusing on how to nourish and strengthen your cardiovascular system naturally. You'll learn specific nutrition strategies that support heart health, appropriate movement practices that strengthen cardiac function without overtraining, and how to monitor your progress. By month's end, you'll have practical tools to maintain a resilient heart that supports your metabolic wellness for decades to come.

October: Hormone Health Inc. Menopause

The month you reclaim your hormonal balance.
Hormonal fluctuations don't have to derail your health journey. This month, we'll map out the complex interplay between your endocrine system and metabolism, with special attention to perimenopausal and menopausal changes. You'll discover how specific foods, movement patterns, and lifestyle practices can naturally support hormone balance. Learn which environmental factors might be disrupting your hormones and how to minimize their impact. Whether you're experiencing hot flashes, irregular cycles, mood swings, or unexplained weight changes, you'll gain practical strategies to work with your changing body rather than against it.

November: Mindset

This Month explores the powerful connection between your thoughts and your health outcomes. We'll dive into practical mindset techniques that support sustainable wellness habits, overcome limiting beliefs around food and fitness, and develop resilience for your health journey. Learn how to cultivate a growth mindset that embraces challenges as opportunities for progress rather than seeing setbacks as failures. Discover identity-based habit formation that make healthy choices feel natural rather than forced.

December: Intuitive Eating

The month you bring it all together.
As the year closes, we'll integrate everything you've learned into a sustainable approach to eating that honours both your body's wisdom and your metabolic health. Who's Behind this Thing?


Hi, I’m Emma McAtasney—Certified Metabolic Health Coach.

For years, I felt frustrated by the traditional methods of weight management, I tracked calories, did hours of cardio, tried intermittent fasting, keto etc. But each time, despite progress, I rebounded, gaining any lost weight back while feeling like a total failure (isn't a health coach supposed to have this figured out?).

It wasn't until I studied to become a Metabolic Health Coach that I had my breakthrough moment—I stopped viewing my body as a simple math equation (subtract diet and add exercise) and started treating it like the complex chemistry set that it is.

The result? I finally achieved the body composition that I was previously working so hard to attain and actual food freedom which freed up so much mental energy.

Now, I work with women who are tired of feeling sluggish, dealing with cravings, or struggling with weight that won't budge take back control.

What exactly is a Metabolic Health Coach?

Metabolic Health Coaches are heart-centred individuals who love helping other people. My mission is to inspire, educate, and hold you accountable during our work together. My goal is to take you from where you’ve always been to where you want to be. Together we’ll co-create lifestyle upgrades that are easy and realistic for you to implement and follow. My promise is to hold a loving space for you, deeply listen, encourage you, and help you discover how you can move closer to the life of your dreams.

Who is this programme for?

My Coaching Package is for busy women who are ready, willing, and are seriously motivated to make the changes that will take them to where they want to be. Growing isn’t easy, but it’s always worth it. And I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.

WAIT.....This may not be the right fit for you if:

You’ll be disappointed if you’re looking for a quick fix. Slow changes are real changes. It takes time to develop and stick to new habits. Losing weight and keeping it off (or any other health/wellness goal for that matter) requires adjusting your mindset and finding new approaches to your lifestyle. That isn’t something that’s going to happen overnight.

How long does the programme take?

My programs are currently 3 and 12 months long, and many of my clients continue working with me for longer once they reach their maintenance stage! We set these time frames because weight loss is not an overnight fix. Our clients have significant weight, health, and overall lifestyle goals that take time to work through. Our average client loses 5-10lbs a month in our DTD program.

I don’t get any help at home. How will this programme help me deal with that?

I’m going to be honest – this programme will not get you a new partner. I do recognise this is as an issue for many of the women I work with and they often feel like it’s hopeless to address it. What this programme will do, is help you set more boundaries, become more comfortable with asking for help, and doing so in a way that feels authentic. So yes, it will indirectly help you deal with this issue.

Can I upgrade once I’ve started the programme?

Of course you can! There’s always the option to add one to one coaching to your programme for an additional price. Just let me know what you have in mind and we’ll make it happen.

What is your refund policy?

I don’t offer refunds for transformative work. My suggestion to you is that we schedule a Compatibility Call and make sure that the Flourish Programme is the right fit for you. During our time together, I’ll honour you by giving you everything I’ve got; it will be important for you to show up and do the same for yourself. If during our contracted time frame, you meet unforeseen circumstances such as illness, death in the family, or job loss, we can certainly discuss a termination of our work together and a pro-rated refund, but otherwise, your original agreement to sign up for this programme is a commitment you’ve made to yourself.

What do I need to take part in this programme?
