Pregnancy Pilates Series: Toned Barre Arms Workout with Dumbbells

Most busy mothers, at some point, wish they had a third arm to get things done, but since that’s unlikely to happen, lets work on making the arms you have stronger instead.

Building our upper body strength is not only helpful for carrying our little babies (who will get heavier) for hours on end, but is also great for carrying the car seat on one side plus nappy/shopping bags on the other. We will need strong, capable upper bodies to get through each day for many weeks to come!

We also want to maintain our upper back and shoulder posture to avoid back pain, neck tension and other discomforts that could arise while carrying our little bundles. We don't need that extra fatigue by the end of the day.

Now is the time to get started to be ready to care for our babies, this pregnancy arm workout will strengthen your upper back and shoulders and tone your arms. Grab a set of dumbbells, a stability ball or chair, press play, and get ready to become a mum with strong, toned arms!
